A Sunny Afternoon...

It was very pleasant yeterday afternoon down the lottie...

...the artichokes were flourishing in the mellow sunshine...

...I unexpectedly sarted digging the couch grass out of the 'old' strawberry bed...

...and did some other bits & pieces of tidying up. Not earth shattering progress but very satisfying none the less! (Oh and I paid Ivan the balance on the greenhouse!)

Greenhouse Update

Here is the Greenhouse (in front to the left) on Ivan's plot. The staging in the foreground is mine as well!

You can see the grapevine I will be looking after (maybe in a pot).

The Day Today...

Cora kept watch for butterflies near the brassicas - good girl!!!

I weeded this bed to make the place appear a bit more cared for.

I also did a bit more sorting out for the new greenhouse including levelling the path between it and the raised beds.

Update

The sunflowers are doing well this year...

...and this is a pleasant scene which manages to avoid those areas which need extensive back-breaking labour in the near future!

What a pair of beauties!

I had a go with the weed wand (flamethrower) on the new path today. The Horsetail being stringy shrivels in a very satisfying manner but I'm sure it's only temporary!

Here is that ol' view again for today....

...you can see the work I did this afternoon trying to build a frame to fix the new greenhouse to.

There are a couple of other areas which are in need of some attention...

...but they will have to wait a while!

Big Greenhouse Update...

I did get down to the lottie a few days ago & began to level this area for Ivan's greenhouse when it arrives. I've been laid low with a bug this week though so this is as far as I've got...
