Elderflowers & Weeding

Thursday was Elderflower Cordial Day. I got the flowers from an abandoned pig farm I discovered on the Moss which was full of them! Will probably be going back soon...

This is the Sweetcorn bed before I dug it over! You can't beat a bit of carpet for conserving moisture and keeping weeds at bay. I had to dig some convovlulus out of the far end by the hedge but that was about it.

I also dug over this bed in readiness for construction of a raised bed in this space.

And weeded this one ditto.
