Apple/Strawberry Bed....

I sorted this out today. Took much longer than I thought it would but very satisfying to get it finished and the strawberries in...

First the bed....

....then chicken manure (pelleted) and bonemeal.... then a thick layer of well-rotted horse manure (not shown)....

....then groundcover and six strawberry 'Elsanta' watered in with Comfrey liquid....:-)

Looking at it now there might be room for a few more....
