Visitors!!!

I removed the protective cover from the shallots and garlic today as it was impeding some growth....they are probably big enough to live without it now....

These leeks are still in fine condition despite having been module-sown last spring and then left 'til the Autumn before being planted out! You never see that in books, do you? (Actually probably late Summer really)

Two visitors today. The female had a muddy bill - I reckon she had been digging....pleased to say I later saw her eating a worm from a nearby plot rather than the seedlings I rather suspected her of!

Err....what shall we do now???
