Peter & Marcia
(Uncle) Peter & Marcia came for a look at the lottie this afternoon. Peter is an allotment holder of long standing and currently has one near their home in Hayes, Middx. I laid two paving stones in the central path (path of shame as was) and we weeded the seedbed frame. Peter said it made him feel a lot better seeing loads of weeds everywhere. It's possible he was only joking, but it's more likely he wasn't. There's nothing like seeing a plot full of someone else's weeds to put a spring in the plotholder's step.
Actually I know that if they had had time Peter and Marcia would have got stuck in like nobody's business.
Peter can't bear the sight of all that convolvulus - Marcia is bravely pulling it up. Thanks Marcia!:-)

unbelievable where do you live spain!!!!!! i cant belibe youve got corgeeeteeees already. do you live in a green house!!!
Thanks to all of you - there are loads of weeds though. I don't know why the Courgettes are so early. We had summer in April so that might have helped!
By the way you two - I played your Bassett vid to my sister in law & her hubby (Jules & Daz) and they thought it was brilliant. Needless to say they have a Bassett of their own (Bertie). We are looking after him later in the year so there may be "Bertie at the Allotment" pics to look forward to!!! Last time he went he ate quiote a lot of gooseberries!
Great Frith will be happy. We have not yet got a dog but have been visiting a few breeders off to see another one tomorrow. we get married in september and hope to get a little pup on our return.
PS our first corgette is on its way.
CO's Inspection went very well, felt a bit of a gooseberry and decided it was OK to eat, very sweet and delicious. Well done. You need more sun for those left behind.
