Re: sowing late carrots: If it turns out to be too late, you've only lost a little seed and some time. Or you could sow kale or mustard greens, which grow pretty well through the winter.
Hello Mike, I've really enjoyed reading through your blog and looking at your fantastic photos. You will be okay to plant carrots after the onions although they may be smaller carrots from a late sowing.
