You harvested a lot of fruits. They look very delicious.
The color of this photograph is very beautiful.
I was impressed by this red color.
Thanks Heymou - I agree that the colour of the jelly is very beautiful.
All the best, Mike
It is worth the effort isn't it John and it tastes as good as it looks.
Glad that you tried it out yourself
Love the photos - your veggie plot is worthy of a Chelsea gold.
Well thank you for that Methuselah - it's just a good job you don't see all the bits that still need sorting out!:)
Hello Mike and Sue
I've poked about in your blog for quite a few weeks but have never posted before.
Your allotment looks great, your photos and SUPERB and every time I see your beautiful dog I just want to give her a big hug!!
But I have to say.... we need another section on here... Sue should be posting her recipies. The food looks fantastic. It's no good tempting us with pics of what you're having for dinner tonight, unless of course you're inviting us all round to share some! I'd love to know what these things are and how to make some of them... I'm particularly partial to potato's!!
Regards,
Brenda
Hi Brenda!
It was a lovely surprise to hear from you. Thank you very much for your kind comments - they are really appreciated.
I will tell Sue what you said about recipes - we do have one or two dotted around the blog but I will try and sort something out to make them more accessable from the main page, and of course, add them more regularly!
All the best, Mike
Hi again Brenda! After re-reading your comment I think you are probably not the Brenda I was referring to in my comment above and so 'lovely surprise' may seem a little over the top! However - I am really pleased with your comment and hope you will pop in again every now and then.
All the best, Mike
PS The dog is just as huggable in real life!
Nope, I don't think you know me but thanks for the warm welcome anyway!
There's nothing better than eating stuff that you grew and took care of yourself... I plan on making an unpronouncable Mexican dish when I get home tonight, and will be picking the green peppers and jalapeno's from my garden to put in it, assuming I can fight my way through the triffids my tomatoes have turned into!
I will endeavor to post more frequently, or at least visit more frequently. The two don't have to go hand in hand!
I love this photo and how the light comes through the glass, showing off the red of the jelly.
