Stunning - what a truly amazing photo - thanks for sharing it with us.
Changing the subject onto the Chocolate Banana cake - (only because we had just had another big slice )
I forgot to tell you that if you zap a slice in the microwave on 600 for 20 - 30 seconds (depending on the thickness and size of the slice) it turns into a literally soft, melt in your mouth experience - no matter how hard it might have got!
Hi Mike, I was watching it develop from my office window, but missed it by 10 minutes due to a trip to the bl**dy Post Office. Sigh. I'll post the one's I took to my Gallery tonight.
Here they are: http://www.wildburro.co.uk/gallery/v/The-Big-Sky/Weather-2006/February+2006
The sky this morning was amazing - the sunrise chasing off the stormy clouds that rained all the day before.
Splendid photograph!
This is very impressive sunset.
I sometimes take a photograph of sunset, too.
Wow! Truely awesome. The background to my computer is a sunset over a farm in Kansas. But I think I prefer yours! Rule Britannia!
Hello everyone and thanks for your comments:) I am off school poorly at the moment so am catching up on a few not very taxing tasks.
AL: Yhanks for the tip about the cake - just when I thought I knew all there was to know about it!
HB: Just off to have a look at your pics now. When I had my studio in St Annes I could watch the sunsets develop and nip out when the time was right. I miss that but do keep a look out in the car on the way home for likely subjects (When I remember)
Heymou: Many thanks for your kind words as ever. I haven't forgotten about the seagulls - just haven't got round to it yet:)
Joules: Glad you liked the picture - I enjoyed popping over to have a look at your blog.
All the best, Mike
