Ah so sweet, it must be the same feeling I have picking up one of my chickens but multiplied by 10 at least in size.
Loaf in oven as I type. I just used half the recipe quantities and when the loaf proved for the second time it got huge and has spread out as a great big bap, so perhaps next time I will put in in a loaf tin like I usually do or make two loaves so that they fill the tray and rise upwards instead of outwards too. I used my biggest baking tin - doh - didn't occur to me that it might spread out as well as up!
Thanks for the recipe, we are going to have a chunk for supper.
I just took some pictures today as I made the bread again to illustrate that very thing! Too late now unfortunately but I'll probably posy them anyway in case anyone else has a go. Hope you enjoy the bread!
I thought I might try it in a loaf tin, or even rolls for a bit of vatiety. Thanks for your comments it has given me food for thought.
Sorry "post" & "variety" I really must check first in future!
