Hi Mike
Moira here. Lovely specimen depicted at greenhouse door. Will it be hardy enough for North Yorkshire?
Slugs and snails and rabbits have demolished all my salad, but beetroot hanging in there.
Cheers

Hi Moira!
This variety tends to wilt if subjected to northern climes for extended periods and heads south to Pembrokshire to recover. Scientists have been working on injecting DNA from the woolly mammoth to try and rectify this problem but as you can see results so far have been disappointing.
Good news about the beetroot- sorry to hear abouit the salad. The organic slug granules from 'Growing Success' are pretty good at deterring them.
ps - all the best etc,
Mike
