Rust Never Sleeps

The shelves Phil dumped on me a couple of days ago are already proving useful. I wasn't sure about drying tje garlic off in the greenhouse as I did the onoins as they are full of rust. (Co-incidently so is the shelving unit!) Posted by Picasa

You obviously have a better climate over there (rain?) as my redcurrants are just now pickable but not the gooseberries. The new strawb plants bought in 2004 are starting to do well and I made the first batch of jam last Thursday!

see ya Moira

Hello Everyone

Firstly,I must admit to leaving the first post myself to check the system was working as my Mum was having problems. I just wrote the first thing that came intoi my head.

Secondly - Hi Moira! We haven't had any rain for ages before today but the fruit always seems to be ready some time during the wimbledon fortnight. My view is things happen when they happen! Who knows why?

Thirdly - Hi Kevin.
