It's been a while since I last visited but as usual I was in for a treat with your brilliant photos and fantiastic plot full to bursting with produce. The gooseberry pie looks delicious to.

Hi Beryl I am delighted to hear from you - thank you for your generous comment as ever. The gooseberry pie was indeed delicious. I believe gooseberries are often much under-rated and one of my forthcoming plans is to introduce two or three interesting varieties such as Early Sulphur or Whitesmith to the plot.
I have not visited your site for ages so will call tomorrow to see what you are up to.
