About the raised beds, I did put quite a lot of information on the posts I did last year when I was building them so you might like to have a look. I would strongly advise using groundcover on the paths and stapling it up inside the beds to stop the weeds along the edges of the beds - the hardest place to get them out of! If the wood is thin then it is well worth putting extra posts at intervals to hold the weight of the soil etc. Hope this helps!
