Mmmm,this looks so refreshing!
I didn't know what Elderflower Cordial was so I did google for it.So it's not alcoholic,is it?My wishful thinking....
Hi KT - you can add it to G&T or make various cocktails with it or mix it with sparkling white wine instead of fizzy water!
Hiya, what recipe do you use? Seems to be loads out there - cheers
You can find the recipe at

Good luck with it!!!
Hello Mike ... your elderflower cordial looks lovely! I made some the other day from the elder tree at the bottom of my garden, and it must have been tasty because my husband glugged the lot before I got a look in.
Now I've got to save what's left on the tree for elderberry wine in the autumn, so I guess I'll have to take a trip out into the wilds to pillage the hedgerow.
Hello Rebsie - thanks for your comment. I had a good look at your blog after I got your post & loved it. Great to see insects as well as the plants! Where we are in Lancashire the elderflowers are beginning to be past their best so I've got another lot on the go and hope to be able to do some more on Tuesday when this lot will be ready.
All the best, Mike
Aww, thanks for checking out my blog, I appreciate that!
I've noticed a lot of variability in the elderflower season even within localised areas ... I live in the Cotswolds and I find the trees on the tops of the hills flower later than the ones in the valley. Anyway, I managed to collect enough to do a bucketload this time so that should keep us going for a bit.
