Hi Mike!
In the bushes at the end of our plot,We found exactly the same metal tank as that.Now it's used as a leafmould container but I'm open to better ideas,too.There's also another disused much larger tank sitting around which contains some manky rain water.Just when I was thinking of giving it a new life,I saw a frog and newt in there...couldn't disburb their home.

I quite agree about the frogs! These tanks are very usefuk though. I'm considering Chinese artichokes for this one.
