It is a wonderful photograph. The afternoon sun is very fantastic. It is good if such a quiet attractive sea is near home. Is this sea near the house of Mr. mike?
Thanks for your comment. This is a few minutes walk from home. It is a great place to take the dog for a walk in any weather as there is a proper path and street lights along the part where we walk.
If we walk a little further there is a windmill down toward where my allotment is. I go to the allotment by car as it is around three and a half miles away from where I live.
I'm glad you like the picture,
All the best, Mike
Wow - you have done it again - just stunning. Why on earth did you give up professional photography when you produce photos like the ones you do on here!
It's a long story! Actually I had a Wedding & Portrait Studio - Landscape Photography was always more of a hobby. I "came out of retirement" briefly this summer to photograph my sister-in-law's wedding and it was a bit like stepping back into a previous life! What was a bit scary was that it all came back to me just like that after 7 years!
I used to pay a fortune on processing & printing but I traded in my old gear for a digital SLR for the occasion and printed everything out at home!
Glad you liked this photo,
All the best, Mike
Absolutely beautiful again!I just adore your artistic talent.
So you're up in Lancashire?Seems like you live in a lovely area.
Thank you KT I'm glad you liked it. Where I live is very flat but peceful.
The Ribble Estuary is much cleaner and more attractive now than it used to be. It is one of the main over-wintering sites in the country for wading birds.
