This is the variety from Vide Verdi seeds I really wanted to try as it looked so beautiful in the (online) catalogue. In my view it looks just as good if not better in the flesh. It should ripen to a pale orange so it will be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks. Posted by Picasa

I don't know what went wrong but the comment I left got lost in cyber space. I just want to say how much I enjoy reading Sue's and your garden diary too, and the other blogs.
Thank you for your comments on mine and you advice re photos. I am a beginner with the blog, so it is a bit of a frustrating journey at the moment. I just add photos by browsing my saved files and reduce the file size, but will try some of the techie stuff you advised.

My pumpkin the same as yours in the picture from VV has not gone orange but is just turning a mottled bronze which looks lovely. Am using the shell next week for a flower arrangement and the rest from recipes.

Appreciated your words of encouragement re lottie. My page is a bit amaturish and girly, but I have been getting a lot of hits so I have been told from one John Harrisons Allotment Web site (see link), he has just added a counter and I had got 150, I was staggered!

I have added your link, but just have to tweak it a bit to get it to work, so bear with me on that.
